Background
During my final year of Bachelor Webdesign in 2023, we had an end-of-year project called MyDigitalProject which consisted of designing and developing a digital project in groups, responding to real demands or student initiatives. This collective project allowed us to deepen our technical skills, implement project management methodologies, work in multidisciplinary teams, and defend our work before a professional jury.
The project
We therefore chose to create Outing Booker, which is a web and mobile application that facilitates the booking of travel to specific events (conferences, concerts, conventions, etc.) for professionals and individuals.
The application will be able to automatically book all means of transport, accommodation as well as the entrance ticket to the event.
After booking all the elements, the application will make a complete summary in the form of a timeline with push notifications with the information of the next stage of the trip.
In case of delay, cancellation of transport or accommodation, it will also be able to inform about alternatives to reach the destination.
My contribution
As project manager, I set up project tracking on Notion and ensured the smooth progression of the different project phases. Working closely with the person responsible for the graphic charter, we established colors, typography, and a coherent universe based on the market research conducted by the marketing team.
As a web designer, I created wireframes and prototyped mockups for both mobile and web applications on Figma. My dual role as a developer in apprenticeship also enabled me to integrate the mockups in React and style everything with SCSS.
